This stud kit is specifically designed for the Toyota 1ZZ and 2ZZ engines. This kit provides far superior clamping for the main bearing cap assembly, greatly strengthening the bottom end of your engine. These studs are also re-usable, unlike the one-time use stock head bolts.
Kit includes 10 studs, 10 12-point nuts, ARP assembly lube, and assembly instructions.
Torque Spec:
60 ft-lb with ARP lube
70 ft-lb with 30WT oil
Use torque sequence from the service manual. Torque only to the spec above, do NOT turn an additional 90 degrees.
